I dare you to dream like you’ve never dreamed before.
I dare you to dance like your feet have just met the floor.
I dare you to believe that you’re greater than you’ve ever thought.
I dare to you see the people in your life,
And see the ones who you really work to end your strife.
It’s funny that we tend to be caught in a maze
And all we do is stand around in a gaze.
And we tend to look into the eyes of the people, who have a very critical disguise,
And we seek their support when they can’t even give it to the wise.
And because we can’t get them to see us as we are
We create expectations for ourselves to gain their approval, which will never be felt.
For what we expect them to see in us
Will never be seen,
So WHY are we waiting for them to complete our dreams?
Are we willing to trust that limitations exist,
And that it’s impossible to live a life full of bliss?
Why are we looking for the approval from the people who don’t really know how to care?
For in fact they don’t even see us there.
We need to look INSIDE for this is where ALL OUR MAGIC lies.
You’ve heard it before, and I’m sure you’ll hear it again
But the only truth is the truth that YOU hold WITHIN.
And when you BeLiEve that you need someone’s approval
You’ll fight for it, thinking once you get it, it’ll end your strife.
The truth is, “Why does THEIR approval give you LIFE?”
Your GreaTness has it’s OWN InTerNaL, Eternal link,
And you don’t need another to have it UNCOVERED.
You are YOUR own MaStEr,
Your own author,
Your own painter,
Your own storyteller,
And while it’s admirable to acknowledge the greatness in another
Know too, that YOUR GREATNESS should be UNCOVERED.
There is NO exclusivity in this world when you live a LiFe that is REAL.
There is NO exclusivity to the SOURCE.
There is NO exclusivity to the magic that can be on YOUR course.
If you can celebrate a brother’s victory,
Then you’ll learn to be proud of your own.
If you can rejoice in a sister’s accomplishment,
Then you’ll be excited to share those of your own.
For when you hand it to another
You’re actually handing it back to yourself.
And in a universe full of ABUNDANCE
Our biggest weakness is the thoughts we hold inside,
That say there’s not enough for everyone to fly.
It’s our beliefs that hold us in,
And it’s love that helps us step out of them.
If you run your life from the sidelines then fear will have created its foothold.
But if you run against the critic
And take on the chants in the crowd
You’ve got more HEART than those who never leave the safe bounds.
For even when you fall, you’ll get right back up
For you’ve chosen to wear the cape of love
And fear you’ll never serve
Because you’re not playing the game of life to not lose
Why would you focus on it from that perspective?
You’re playing it to WIN.
You’re not on the defense,
You’re on the offense,
And if you’re going to play it to win
You’ve got to play it for YOUR LOVE of the game.
When you critique another
The illusion is that you’re actually critiquing yourself.
For what you don’t like in others
For what you judge carelessly
For what you say when you don’t know
Sets your boundaries and limitations by what you’ve sown.
The more you critique the more you’ll fear
The more you admire, appreciation and high five up
The more you’ll find yourself ready to blow through this bluff of FEAR.
The illusion is in fact that we are the ONLY ones, who have the power to make it REAL,
And we are the only ones that through our POWER to LOVE can make it DISAPPEAR.
You can’t change your world if you can’t change your SIGHT.
If you can SEE through LoVing eyes than we might be able to pull back the shades.
Why can’t we go after it all?
Who told you that it’s impossible?
Are you writing your dream, or did you invite them to do it for you?
And if you did, I hope that they’re good company
Because you’ll begin to see that either they take away or add to it
And if you let them stay and pull your dreams apart
You may want to reconsider the company you’re amongst.
For I believe that what you believe will be TRUE.
And I can’t change your mindset nor would I ever try to toil with the skeptic eyes.
But if you BeLieve that you’re here for something GREATER,
That you’ve got GREATNESS INSIDE
And you’re ready to take on any tide
You’re ready to see what you can make come ALIVE
Then don’t let that seed go by the wayside.
Because I know that the truth of your greatness is so
And I SEE it, and I FEEL it, and I HOPE you do, too,
But I can’t make you believe, if you don’t BELIEVE in YOU.

I BeliEve if we seek 2 be the best that we can be for the WhOLe, we will become whole.
I Believe that children are some of the wisest people on this earth before they are domesticated.
I BeLieVe we learn 2 value the people in our lives who love us with the most genuine, unconditional LoVe when we actually LeArn 2 truly LoVe ourselves.
I Believe that what we choose in LiFe also chooses us, and when we run the ground feels our beat and anticipates our next step.

I Believe Motivation is short lived, but PassIon lights a FiRe that takes our StrenGth HigheR.

Live a Life in LOVE

LOVE is not a temporary feeling nor a temporary giving.
It’s something that should be done as a living.
Done through every inherent step we take,
Tasted in every moment that life is awake.
Felt in every beat the heart makes,
It is a constant “face” that we make.
LOVE is never lacking nor needing something from another.
It is magic that comes from within.
Yet for most souls it still remains to be uncovered.
It is given to another but never taken nor forsaken.
The LOVE from our creator is perfect in every form.
The more we connect to LOVE the more it empowers us to see
That in fact we do create our dreams.
The lacking, the emptiness, the darkness, the wilted flower, the dead seeds
Are only in need of LOVING beautifully.
It’s difficult to see clear when true LOVE has not yet overcome fear,
But it’s possible to reach higher and overcome the darkness that tends to transpire.
For the absence of LOVE is the weakness,
And the beauty of LOVE is that it is the face of our creator,
And when we allow it to run through us it will show us truth.
For there is nothing but LOVE in truth and truth in LOVE.
The light, the LOVE, the abundance all comes from above.
To cast out LOVE, to shut out the door is to welcome the darkness in forever more.
When we know LOVE we know that it runs through us all,
And denying it, denies us the beauty in life.
It is the sweet savor that is God’s only true might.
LOVE is the power of God;
God is the power of LOVE.
To think our creator would be different
Only would cause us to judge our brothers and sisters,
And what kind of God would divide his people?
LOVE is constantly where it is welcomed,
And when we cut it off, its absence is what brings us down.
LOVE is the force that will take the hate down.
LOVE is a momentum you build up inside.
The prophets who’ve gone before
Really LOVED all of mankind.
LOVE is the only true power that exists
Because in the end, it really is all that there is.
When you create anything in true LOVE
You’ll align with a force that is the only thing from above.
In every step that you take,
Give thanks.
In every breath that you breath
Ask God to help you create.
In every laugh that you share,
In every moment that you become more aware,
In every hand that you hold,
With every heart that you’ve felt,
With every chance that you get to give,
In all the light, color and beauty that you see,
In all the painful yet great lessons that you’ve learned,
In all the moments that LOVE made your heart melt,
Know that this force is greater than all the darkness that lacks the LOVE.
LOVE is, has been, and will always be our Creator.
Live a life in LOVE;
Give it away.

THEY SKIPPED MY SONG

They skipped my song
I was so sad,
But then a NEW one came along.
It was so SWEET
I FORGOT my old beat
The NEW one is now mine.
Time has changed my mind.
For my old song was perfect for my PAST,
And it played like a jam that gave me a blast,
But as I danced I moved away.
My dancing partners took me across the stage.
I found that I was turning a NEW page.
My frequency was shifting and steps were changing.
I wanted the past to stay in place,
I wanted to hold on,
And allow nothing to fall out of place.
I fought and struggled against the change.
I wanted to dictate the story.
I should be the ONLY one allowed to turn the page.
It happened oh so fast,
I didn’t have a chance to even LET GO of the past.
I had to keep dancing,
And I had to keep pace with the CHANGE,
But my emotions seemed to keep me back
For my heart lay BEHIND me,
And the pull of the Universe was AHEAD of me.
Some friends could NOT keep in the race,
And I didn’t want them to leave,
But the Universe only kept pulling me.
In tune to it’s rush
I had to stay in touch.
I had to move ahead for what was waiting
Was waiting for me,
And if I was willing to TRUST in my dreams.
I was going to have to let go and just BELIEVE.
My heart was floating out at sea
It could no longer take this feeling of uncertainty.
For when the Universe pulled me away
It gave me a NEW chance to play this GAME.
My emotions were boxed up to be released away
And all of a sudden the music has changed.
My song has a NEW name.
When I let go, the game got on a roll,
For my emotions before had CLOUDED my sight,
But now this time was different
I was leaning on God’s MIGHT.
To check in or check out or to move on,
My story was ready to HEAR the NEW song.
The resistance has stopped.
The flow of the Universe is FELT.

THE PACE-SETTER

The risk taker is my HERO;
The one who will risk it ALL
Because life without zest
Is NO life at all.
The person who plays his own beat everyday
Who has tapped into the DREAMS of this universe,
And he will strive to go boldly
Where he HEARS his calling,
Even when the critics scream in his face.
The path-MAKER, the pace-setter, the BELIEVER,
Who energizes the room when he walks in.
He’s got the whole world thinking,
“What’s he got that I don’t?”
It’s not that he’s GREATER,
He’s set apart by his BELIEF.
His LEAPS OF FAITH are what makes him a CHIEF.
Because of his fervor and STRIKING courage
They ponder the question of their own strength.
His positivity is contagious.
His MOLD leaves a story to be told.
For when he dared, they weren’t ready to dare, too.

Life is NOT what you come with,
It’s what you CREATE with what you’ve been handed.
Power is too often spent too QUICKLY.
The hands, which receive it, spend it fast.
They tend to lose their goodness and end up last.
Power is MORE than what it seems.
Some who have it
Still don’t understand what POWER really MEANS.
Power that is spent WISELY does not dwindle
In the night.
It has earned its RIGHT;
It ENDURES the evil might.
Life is NOT about controlling an experience
Nor making plans that all fall into place.
Life is going with GOD’s PACE.
Life is NOT about depletion.
Life is about contributing to Earth’s CREATION.
Life is NOT about forgetting your brother.
It’s about sharing your stride
With those who’ve stumbled as they’ve past by.
It’s about GIVING a hand to those who can’t BELIEVE
Since their journey has felt like they’ve been LOST at SEA.
Life is NOT about the picture,
It’s about the Artist.
The MEANING behind the painting is WHY it stands.
It’s beauty that’s held in the creator’s hands.
Life is NOT about what you know
It’s ALWAYS about what you sow.

For poverty should really only be a MYTH.

For we ALL BELONG.

Is waiting to be rescued with our vision

The same political positions still stand

And the MIND-power

For the 1 LOVE

The 4 elements are grand

The universe is BLIND

TO UNDERSTAND WHAT LOVE IS NOT

My best friend left me.
No, he didn’t leave me at the altar,
But he BROKE my heart.
And he did it in a moment when I NEEDED him most.
I was vulnerable, and he KNEW it, too.
Yet, he LIED, created his own DISGUISE,
And said he did NOT know me.
I was told this, but I couldn’t believe it.
I couldn’t believe a man of his CHARACTER
Would stoop so low.
I absolutely did NOT believe he had this in his flow.
I thought I KNEW this man
I would have put money on his GOOD DEEDS.
Yet, how could he turn around and smite me?
He denied me
Like Judas denied Christ.
It was bitter and my pain was indescribable.
I was in a CRISIS and he jumped out of the car to save himself.
He left me because his face was all that he CARED about.
The story becomes sourer
As he chose to ignore me when I recovered.
It’s as if our friendship NEVER existed.
It’s as if I NEVER really knew this MAN.
He is gone,
And I’m left thinking, “What the heck were we ALL along?”
I can’t quite imagine these circumstances,
But they happened, and I could choose to crumble.
However, I just know…
It’s TIME to start AGAIN.
For a man that CANNOT STAND for what is GOOD,
For what is RIGHT,
Is a MAN that surely NEEDS to ADJUST his SIGHT.
What has happened is DONE.
I’m not amused that I was SHUNNED.
For are we not CHRISTIANS,
And do we not PREACH LOVE?

I’m ALARMED to say that I THOUGHT I knew this man.
I’m at PEACE to say that I do NOT know him any longer.
If one is to ABANDON a FRIEND,

Shouldn’t they CONSIDER what THEY PREACH
Before they drive a wedge in the ground THAT IS SO DEEP?
I’m NOT a vengeful soul,

I’ll CHOOSE LOVE ALWAYS over hate.
This has ALWAYS been on my plate.
What do I give to someone who took it ALL?
I’ll give him a PACKAGE with FORGIVENESS
And it will be laced in LOVE.

I was made to have COMPASSION.

For their stories echo on

I KNOW that truth is subjective and depends on one’s PERCEPTION.
I know that we as a society cannot really know it ALL.
I know that MANKIND remains a humble SERVANT to the UNKNOWN;

For what we comprehend will SHIFT as the CLOCK of mankind ticks.

What Makes Someone A HERO?

Don’t Wikipedia it, I’m asking YOU a question. What does someone have to do to become classified as a hero? Do they have to accomplish something small? Something big? Does it need to be so amazing that it’s out of this world? Must they have supernatural powers, or must they be human with supernatural gifts? What element, trait, act, thought process, gift or idea makes one a hero? If you look at the heroic individuals in the past or in the present, what is a commonality that they all share? Superheroes? Heroes are individuals who have (as MJ would say) made this world a better place, impacting from 1 person to billions or trillions as in the case of some extraordinary artists and leaders.

In all actuality there is no way to quantify how many people who have been remarkably impacted by a hero. You see, the example and lessons that are left behind by figures who have positively impacted the world LIVE ON far past their death. Many legends are never celebrated like they should be in their time. Often it is through their death that the majority of people step back and examine what the individual did to contribute to the human race.

There tends to be a few commonalities that some of the greatest heroes of all time shared. They had a message in some form (art, music, dance, writing, leading, etc.) that was greater than who they were as a human being, they had an INTENTION that was greater than who they were as a human being, they cared passionately about mankind’s progress, and they internally had the courage to use their God-given talents to speak truth in some form. They spoke often for people who had lost their strength and ability to speak for themselves.

I encourage you to IDENTIFY your heroes. Start off with people who you personally know such as family and friends, and try to work all the way out to people who are only historical figures in your book. Try to understand clearly WHY the people you have selected are your heroes. What personality traits do they have in which you’d like to attain? Sincerely be grateful for how they contributed to your life even if it was in an indirect way.

Passion that LIGHTS the WORLD on FIRE comes from SOULS with PROFOUND DESIRES.

It’s never too late to live your life with the kind of PASSION that will help you achieve your dreams, and help you become a HERO to a NEW generation. Passion is attained by CARING enough where one looks to MAKE A DIFFERENCE, small or big. Please forget about the people who have told you that you can’t. They don’t know anything. The truth is, you’ve probably already made a difference in this world. If we live in a world where EVERYONE and EVERYTHING is CONNECTED, how can we BELIEVE that we are NOT making an impact on this world??!!! WE ARE EVERYDAY, whether we think we are or not. I’m not telling you to believe this, it’s a FACT that we are all CONNECTED.

Live your life with PASSION because the choices you make today affect tomorrow AND affect the world. Why choose to believe that you can’t contribute, when YOU ARE CONTRIBUTING everyday.

If you don’t believe, you CANNOT CONCEIVE. If you cannot conceive your DREAMS will NEVER be.

If your dreams FEEL impossible, look historically at the figures WHO DID THE IMPOSSIBLE. Believe YOU can do it, too.

And finally, remember we’ve all been blessed with our own unique talents. If you don’t contribute then you throw away what God has blessed you with. You forfeit your own game and you pull yourself off the court. Do you really want to live your life on the sidelines only watching all the time? Identify your heroes and pick the ones that INSPIRE YOU to be YOUR GREATNEST. We ALL are GREAT, and we have talents given from God. I can’t be who you are, and you can’t be who I am, but together, if we use what we’ve each been given we’ll go in life exactly where we need to go, and we’ll do with our lives exactly what we were intended to do.

I CAN’T do what you do, BUT I can SEE the GREATNESS in YOU. I don’t want to just see it, I want YOU to bring it to LIFE.

We’ve MADE many mistakes in our past 233 years
But the difference is, we’ve shed our tears
And we’re GROWING
Because the mistakes WE’VE Made
We’ve risen from and the RISING is getting FAST
For what we did to the INDIANS
Was because we misunderstood THEIR SPIRITS
For THESE SOULS were WISE
And they were in tune to the FORCES OF NATURE
They knew they were connected to the LAND
Yet we TOOK THEIR LAND
And we killed their bodies
But their souls LIVE ON
And the BEAUTY in the SKY

For these people saw TRUE BEAUTY

That their WISDOM can be OURS
For the AMERICANS have a certain type of power

BUT NOW IT’S A MATTER OF LEARNING FROM IT, TOO.
For our POWER was given for a reason
And if we don’t use it right

We need to HELP our brothers and sisters around the world

That they have found in the SIMPLE THINGS
We NEED TO HELP THEM
SO THEY CAN HELP US
For if we HEAL THEM
They will HEAL US
For as their SOULS SCREAM

For I SEE IT IN OUR EYES
We know we are CONNECTED to these GREATER THINGS
And Americans should WAKE
For much is at STAKE
For THEIR BODIES are STARVING
And their Minds are WEAK
BUT THEY have SOULS that STILL SPEAK

But we’ve REFUSED TO LISTEN
And we should take a CLUE

Those who speak them

TO tap into this TRUTH

Find the LEADERS who know HOW TO LOVE

For the generations that still live with us
Still SPEAK to US
Their WISDOM is STILL HERE
And what they SPEAK
Has BEEN SPOKEN
But if we don’t listen
We’re losing
For what we TEACH
We TEACH TO THEM
But what they teach
They TEACH TO MEND.
For THEIR EXPERIENCE
Can be OUR EXPERIENCE,
But we’ve blocked them out
Because there have been seeds of doubt.
And though we’ve heard their words
We haven’t FELT THEIR HEARTS,
For their wisdom is GREAT
But their souls have become faint
And what we treasure from our generation
We should SEEK from their generation
For they’ve lived a long life
And they’ve seen OUR STRIFE.
They want to help
To teach us to take a better step
But they can’t reach us
If we don’t let them teach us.
For their words have been heard,
And they wish to SPEAK
For their SPEAKING is LIVING,
BUT the LIVING STOPPED SPEAKING.
And if we learn to HEAR THEIR HEARTS
Their wisdom will pull the pain apart.
For they know us
Better than those around us
For they’ve seen it all
They’ve seen OUR LIVES from the BEGINNING
And they wish to SPEAK
For they DON’T want to SEE OUR ENDING,
Before their Ending.
For THEIR SOULS live on THROUGH US
And what they’ve taught us
Was bought with a price
For they have already suffered the cost
And they want us to SEE
That we must SEE what they’ve already SEEN.
For if we wish to TRULY STAND
We must have TIME ON OUR HANDS,
We can’t waste time learning the lessons
That mankind already has felt.
We need to look to the people
Who’ve already got their own experience under their belt.
For their wisdom is a bridge
And when we take it
WE LEAP
For we’re NO LONGER WASTING TIME
Spent learning painful lessons that make us weak.
For they make us strong in the end,
But they take time from our mind
And our soul would rather learn quicker,
And WE CAN,
If we just listen to the souls who’ve already walked the path we’re on.
For if TIME is TRULY TO BE ON OUR HANDS
We must TAKE TIME whenever we can.
For we have ONE TIME to spend.
And their world can bridge our world
For we want to GO HIGHER
We want to BUILD THIS EMPIRE.
But first we must learn the lessons that have already transpired
For their WISDOM is ON TIME
If we dare to listen
For their message, too
SHARES OUR VISION
For THEIR WISDOM is GREAT
Even if their bodies have become faint
And we prize the minds of people in our generation
More than the people who can SEE OUR GENERATION.
We must SEEK their WISDOM,
For their bridge will take us higher
And OUR DREAMS
Will be part of their seams
For what they’ve sewn,
They’ve already felt
And if we dare
We should ask them for their HELP.
For OUR VISION
IS only as STRONG as THEIR VISION
And if they ADD FUEL TO THE FIRE
Our Visions will co-inspire.
For their victory can be ours
Their pain can be felt
If we let them teach.
We will not SPEAK,
For their WORDS HAVE POWER
And we MUST LISTEN BEFORE we CAN TEACH
For teaching is ALL ABOUT WISDOM POWER.
For the generations before
Who still share this same world
Our here for a bit more time
We MUST PICK THEIR MINDS.
For what they SEE
THEY’VE SEEN BEFORE
And THEIR WISDOM will teach us MORE.
We cannot SEEK to FIND THE ANSWERS in each other,
For our bodies our young, even if our souls are old.
We must ask them what they’ve seen
For they’ve been through the valleys
They’ve risen and they’ve fallen
And if we dare we WILL NOT REPEAT
For the mistakes we make our fine
That teach us much, in due time.
But we WANT TIME
So we must learn from a different level
We must speak to those who have already learned,
For if we do, we won’t walk the path that already has been trodden
We’ll take the NEW PATH
That is OURS
For we can learn from their lessons
So we don’t repeat the lessons.
For it’s often repeated
And we remain defeated
Because OUR TIME IS WASTED
And we’re doing the same things
Progress is being sucked up by the blind things.
We must TAKE OUR TIME BACK
WE MUST LISTEN
For their words will increase our pact.
Their wisdom is there
They WAIT, FOR THEY WISH TO SHARE.
For the bridge they offer us, will take us FARTHER
If we ignore,
The route will be longer,
The pain will be stronger,
And we will have spent our time
On the foolish side.
For they wait to share
Since they have ALWAYS CARED
And if you DARE TO LISTEN
You might just see they can ADD to your MISSION
For they know more than we think
And we tend to THINK more than we KNOW.
For when we LOVE THEM
Their words will surely flow.
And their pain will be felt,
And their bridge will be OFFERED,
And our TIME will be GIVEN,
And an EXTENSION will be granted
For our TIME IS POWER
For we are YOUNG
And OUR VISION
HAS NOT YET GONE SOUR
For they have wisdom
And we NEED THEIR WISDOM
And EVEN if THEIR BELIEF
Has become weak
WE WILL SURELY SPEAK.
For the vision we still have
They once did, too,
But this time we’re going to take their wisdom
And it implement, too.
For our TIME IS OUR POWER
For our bodies our YOUNG, even though our souls are old.
And we must TEACH OUR GENERATION
The things we’ve been told.
For the group that stands with those who’ve stood
Will stand ahead
For they listened to their stories,
And the wisdom that was passed
Passed on to the YOUNG
And the YOUNG STILL HAD THEIR VISIONS
For their SIGHT had been PROTECTED
And they dared to STAND
For when they STOOD
THEY stood for the souls
Who brought them here.
For THEIR WISDOM
Can be OUR WISDOM
And OUR VISION
Can reignite THEIRS
We are the power of TIME
For TIME is OUR GLORY
Our bodies are YOUNG
And we’ve got the will to FIGHT
For what always FELT to be RIGHT
For they are ending their time with us
But if we LISTEN,
Their words will remain with us
And our VISION will be GRAND
Because they too, will STAND.
For when we HEAR THEIR WISDOM
They hear our DREAMS
AND that my FRIEND
IS THE FIRE THAT WILL FUEL
The SCHEME.
For our strength is because of theirs
And they’ve fought for us
And we are here because of their fight
They have their stories
But we STILL HAVE THE SIGHT.
And we have to take what they offer,
The power will STEP IT UP
And the force we’ve got will take a NEW FORM
For what they speak,
Has been spoken,
But we have not listened,
And if we dare to care
Their message will SHOW OUR MESSAGE

They lost,
And we feel their pain,

That too will want to be part of OUR MISSION.

But moving it is, only if we dare to be
Part of the movement that connects eternally.
For THEIR MESSAGE IS TRULY THE SAME AS OURS

We BRIDGE the TWO WORLDS
And with their wisdom WE GAIN TIME
For we no longer have to waste
Blowing the mind.
They can teach us what we can’t teach ourselves
Unless we want to waste our time learning the lessons
That tend to repeat themselves.
The time is ticking for them to speak,
For if they speak,
THEN WE SPEAK,
And when we speak, we speak to them
And when they speak, they speak to us
For our CONNECTION IS GRAND
They’ve already walked this land.
And we must DARE TO BRIDGE the worlds
For their bodies are fragile,
But their messages still PREVAIL
And OUR FORCE OF POWER
Is connected to the LOVE TOWER.
For as they look down and shine their light
THEIR LIGHT shows us the way
Our visions become GRANDER
Because of the words that they SAY.
If we dare to LISTEN
They will speak,
And WE will SPEAK TO EACH OTHER,
For they have the wisdom WE NEED.
For we need TIME ON HANDS
IF WE REALLY PLAN TO DO THESE GREAT THINGS.
